2 Miles of Sand Extreme XC Foot Race will be held this year at Jockey's Ridge on Saturday August 19, 2006 at 10:00 AM. The proceeds of the race benefit the Manteo High School Cross Country Team. Sponsors include Sound Feet Shoes, The Outer Banks Running Club and Jockey's Ridge State Park. The OBX Swim Club will be handing out sandwiches and drinks.
