After work on Monday my two sons wanted to hit some tennis balls. We went up to the courts at the Parks and Rec facility in Kill Devil Hills and chased balls for an hour. As we were wrapping up, we noticed there were quite a few people throwing ultimate discs in the field next door. We were immediately invited to join the pick up game. All of us had such a good time that tennis is out and Ultimate is in for Monday nights.
Pick up games are every Monday evening from 6:30 till dark at the Kill Devil Hills Parks and Rec field behind Outer Banks Brewing Station. Kids of all ages are welcome to join the fun. You can find more information at OBXUltimate.
Sammy would be good at this.... he is a world champion Frisbee dog and has the trophies to prove it.

I am afraid Sammy might have a tough time with Ultimate. The lack of opposable thumbs would be a real challenge. I think we will also have to see some proof about his frisbee claims - trophies are really cheap.
