Thanks for your concise explanation of interest rates and how the change may or may not affect our housing market. In general, Mortgage rates are still near historical lows and the interest rates charged on money for home mortgages is not the ongoing issue in our housing market, locally or nationwide.

I am of the belief that a long term adjustment is in store for average folks who are in the need of change in their housing circumstances. Employment, desires, overall economic situations and a general assessment of individual housing needs are at hand in many people's minds.

For those willing to accept the truth in today's housing market, it is a great time to make a strategic move for a long term permanent improvement in the individual's housing circumstances. You might not get all you wanted for your present, but the locations and choices you have out there, with so many for sale, are going to make the difference.
